The information here is very rich - it's a lot to take in. We do not expect you to sit and read the entire forum and do everything at once. It is a lot better to work on each suggestion one at a time and make sure you get it right before you move on.

Validating your code may not seem necessary to some, but if your code is invalid or your tags appear in the wrong place, your site may not be listed as well as it could be. In some circumstances it might not show up at all.
