1. Choose a category.
Please only list your board in one category. Boards with several themes can be posted in Multi-topic.
If your board does have an over all theme, but includes many off topic forums, you should post in the forum for your theme. For example a soap opera fan board that includes recipes, games and other non-soap forums, would still advertise in Movies and TV as that is where people will be looking.
2. Post your listing.
Start a new topic in your chosen category. Include the following information:
Topic title:
Please only include one board per listing. If you have several boards you should create one listing for each board.
3. Changes to your listing
You can edit the title or description of your listing at any time. Please let us know if your listing needs to be moved to a different category, or if you want us to remove your listing altogether.
4. Give it kudos
Don't forget to give kudos to boards that you like. This lets the board owner/admin know that others have read their ad and liked their board.

Some suggestions:
If your board is MBA (membership by approval) be sure to mention that in your ad, along with any membership requirements that your community has.
I do suggest that you have at least one forum that is open for reading so that potential members can get a feel for your board before they decide whether to join or not. But you don't have to have an open forum in order to advertise here.
Avoid using color tags in your topic.
They may look nice when you post, but if the skin for that forum gets changed later on, there is a real possibility that you text could become very difficult to read. It could be a while before we notice and edit your topic to make it readable again.
